Hi! I’m Jenny,

I’m a writer, educator, and founder of Orange Elephant Press.

For as long as I can remember, writing has been my way of making sense of things. Over the years, I’ve filled notebooks scattered with reflections, lyrics, and ideas – pieces of who I am.

Suddenly, those pieces are starting to take shape!

In 2024, I was selected to participate in an Entrepreneurship Academy hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Southeastern Connecticut. After eight weeks of planning and development, my pitch won first place!

I was awarded $2000 furnished by the Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region to establish my publishing imprint Orange Elephant Press. I used the prize money to brand and build this website and edit my very first children’s picture book, titled, A Seedling’s Wish!

Outside of writing, I’m a rockin’ housewife, mom to a theater kid, and a pet parent to a goofy rescue pup, and a couple cats. I live for simple life’s pleasures: fancy tacos, dance parties in my kitchen, and binging good TV.

Oh, I also have Cerebral Palsy and probably ADHD.

These pieces of me make up the heart of Orange Elephant Press and have an impact on every story I write. And I can’t wait to share my stories with you!

xoxo,

Jenny
